~ Disappointing Purchases ~

Hello! Today I'm going to be writing about 2 things I bought back in March, and I probably haven't used them since... Which is sad because I really wanted them to be great!

I'll be talking about the Urban Decay Naked Flushed compact, and the Too Faced Primed & Poreless Powder

~*~*~

First up! Naked Flushed

I like the idea behind this little compact, it's super convenient to be able to carry 3 face products in your purse, but I think it's a bit too small.
The contouring shade was useless too me, as it wasn't pigmented enough to show up on my slightly-tan skin, and if I packed it on - I looked partially like an Oompa Loompa.
The blush shade was a bit too ruddy for my skin, and it just looked off.
Lastly, the highlight shade was perfect (of course) but I found it a little difficult to get onto a brush alone. Which is why I think maybe if the colors were actually in separate pans or if they were all the same size square, this compact would've worked out much better.

Primed & Poreless

I've heard wonderful things about this product, and I couldn't wait to purchase it!
It comes in 2 ways, as a pressed powder, or a loose powder (above).
Now when I opened this, I was expecting a huge mess and to have the product floating around in the lid, after being shuffled around in shipping. But to my surprise, there was a sticker over the holes, keeping the powder in, and after removing the sticker, you can turn the little dial to cover the openings, so you STILL don't have to worry about a spill if you take this with you somewhere, and you just toss it into your bag!

Now onto the problem: I found this extremely difficult to get out of the sifter. I would turn it upside down and tap it into the lid. No matter how hard or how long I tapped, I wouldn't get a lot out, and it was frustrating to have to continuously turn it over and tap, apply, turn over and tap, apply, repeat, etc.
I don't know if maybe mine got packed together from being shipped (Florida's humidity is a killer), but I sadly can't say if this product did what it said it should.
I think next time I'm going to purchase the pressed powder and test that out!

~*~*~

I'm thinking of maybe doing more posts like this, as I'm usually disappointed by stuff I buy.
Let me know if you guys are interested!

✧ Sephora Jasmine Collection ✧

Hi guys! Long time, no post!
I apologize for that, but I just haven't had the gumption to make any posts.
I have to admit, I wouldn't be making a post today if I hadn't discovered these pictures I took back in March for a post that I never got around to doing! So here we go~
*Heads Up* there are no swatches in this post and I apologize, but it's tagged that way because it still features images of the products and colors

Andrea Redi-Lash False Eyelashes ~Review~

Hi guys!
Today I'll be reviewing some lashes I bought a few months ago, but never got around to wearing until a few days ago.

Andrea Redi-Lash #53S
As you can see, these lashes are pretty natural looking and aren't too long.
What makes these lashes different?
They're self-adhesive!
Which means, no (sometimes) messy glue, or waiting for the glue to become tacky before applying lash strips to your eyes!
These are honestly, the easiest lashes to apply, as it only took me a few minutes. Plus, these are definitely good for beginners because I've never put on false lashes before, and I found these incredibly easy to handle.

Here are some photos of the lashes applied:

In this photo, I'm wearing the falsies on my left eye (right side of picture) which you can see adds quite a bit of length compared to my right eye (left side of picture)

Here I'm wearing both falsies, on both eyes.
BOOM! Instant length in a matter of minutes!

I'm in love with these, and I will definitely repurchase them.

Here are a few other bits about the lashes:
- I've only worn these once, but after pulling them off, the sticky-strip still had plenty of stick to it, so I'd deem these as reusable
- they also seem to have a second sticky-strip included in the packaging so once the current strip runs out, you can just replace it (haven't tried it yet)

And that's all for today! Hope you enjoyed reading!

♥ Exciting Beauty Buys ♥

I FINALLY GOT MY HANDS ON THE REST OF THE LIMITED EDITION BABY LIPS
I believe I have them all now!

Here are the 3 that I purchased today:
L to R: 90 Yummy Plummy, 60 Melon Mania, 80 Pink Wink
Yummy Plummy is very sheer, but it darkened my lips ever so slightly, which I really liked, and I have a feeling that if I let it set, it will darken up, just like a Revlon Lip Butter I purchased not too long ago.
I feel like Melon Mania is going to be my new favorite. It's a hot pink color, but it doesn't go on like that. I dunno how to explain it, but I love how it looks. I suppose it looks very similar to how Cherry Me looks when I wear it, but Melon Mania deifnitely has a more "punch pink" to it.
Pink Wink is definitely too light for my skin tone (but it smells delicious), and I'll probably wear it under a dry lipstick more than I would alone.

The full list of LE Baby Lips are: Twinkle, Coral Crush, Pink Wink, Melon Mania, and Yummy Plummy
(And in case you were wondering, I do in fact own all of those)

Next up, I have some nail polishes!
Sinful Colors was Buy 4 for $5 with your Walgreens card, and at first I only had 5 in my basket, but then I saw that there were 8 colors in the new Sugar Rush Collection, so I decided to grab the other 3 since I'd be saving a little bit of $$$$.

L to R: 953 Unicorn, 1169 Sugar Rush, 1170 Sugar N Spice, 1171 Sweet Nothing, 1172 Cotton Candy, 1173 Orange Cream, 1174 Candy Coated, 1180 Sweet Tooth
I honestly love all of these colors and I am so glad they were 4/$5 cause that way I only spent $10 instead of close to $16
I'm gonna paint my nails with one of these in a few minutes but I'm not sure which one yet!

------

And last I bought a Maybelline lipstick that I've been looking for (and for some reason it's only at Walgreens and not Target or anywhere else?)

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipcolor in 160 Fifth Avenue Fuchsia

I don't have any quality photos of it on me now, but I do have a semi-decent webcam photo.

Impromptu Beauty Buys

Tonight I went to Target to buy a new shower caddy and some makeup wipes, but of course I saw a couple of red sale tags in the Maybelline area so I went and checked it out
I found the Color Tattoo Shadows marked down to $4.74, so I grabbed two.
Then when I was walking out of the makeup area, I saw they had an end display of Pacifica products, which I thought you could only get at Sephora, so I was pretty happy. Of course they didn't have everything there but I still bought a rollerball perfume.

And that's all there is!
